Democracy – Deliberative
Deliberative Democracy, also known as discursive democracy, is defined as a form of democracy in which deliberation is central to decision making. Although democracy comes in many forms, most do not make significant demands on the thinking of individual citizens and voters. Deliberative Democracy by the people themselves makes many such demands via thoughtful deliberation and reflection. The proponents and supporters of Deliberative Democracy argue that this system can provide the missing link between public judgement and public policy.
